You want to make sure that the equipment that you choose will handle what you want to do. You need to have a broadband connection. You can get that through your local phone company or even your local cable company.

Once you have your broadband connection in place, the next step is to look for a router. When learning how to set up a wireless network, you have to choose and set up a router.
